Elbit, the Israeli defense company, agreed to move its unmanned aerial vehicles trials from their usual testing area in the Golan following British objections that the Golan is occupied territory, Ha’aretz reported.

The Watchkeeper Project is worth 800 million Pounds Sterling. Israel is a leader in the manufacture of unmanned aerial vehicles, which have proven valuable in intelligence gathering and reconnaissance.

Israel’s annexation of the Golan, captured from Syria in the 1967 Six-Day War, has not been recognized by any other country.
