Israel must go ahead with plans for a Palestinian state after it withdraws from the Gaza Strip, Jordan’s king said. Abdullah made the comments to Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz during a meeting Thursday in Aqaba, Jordan. Abdullah emphasized the need for Israel to implement the “road map” peace plan, according to Jordanian officials.
