Col. Aharon Yariv, veteran of World War II and of Israel’s War of Liberation, was named today Israel military attache in the United States, succeeding Col. Katriel Salmon. Col. Yariv served with the Jewish Brigade in World War II. At one time he headed Israel’s Command and Staff College.
