Israel’s navy is preparing itself for acquisition of new weapons, newer than “any we know to date,” Admiral Shlomo Erel, the Navy Commander, said today in an interview in the Navy periodical, Maarachot Yam.
He also reported that the Navy was building a highly modern electronics workshop, as well as port maintenance facilities to permit operation and maintenance of different types of naval vessels.
