Israel Not Informed of Decision to Send U. N. Aide to Jerusalem

Israel has received no official intimation of a decision to send Dr. Francisco Urrutia, aide of UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold, back to the Middle East to facilitate implementation of the Mt. Scopus agreement he negotiated between Israel and Jordan. These sources indicated the question had been raised with Jerusalem, but never finalized.

A number of hurdles have arisen in the path of the agreement, the stressed, but Israel had nothing to do with throwing up these obstacles. Meanwhile. Jerusalem Mayor Gershon Agron accompanied the regular fortnightly convoy to the height. There was no incident today and the guards were relieved and food and other supplies left.
