Israel offered to send medical assistance to Azerbaijan after a subway fire over the weekend left more than 300 dead and hundreds with burn injuries.
Health Minister Ephraim Sneh said Sunday that Israel is ready to share its experience in treating burns, and would help authorities deal with the disaster if requested to do so.
The fire that broke out Saturday was due to a faculty electric system in the subway car, news reports said.
