Israel’s Civil Aviation director, Naftali Ben-Yehuda, left today for Washington to discuss extension of landing rights to El Al Israel Airlines. He will seek permission for El Al planes to land in Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and other West Coast airports.
Mr. Ben-Yehuda will also seek American agreement to a proposal that El Al planes be permitted to pick up passengers for America at airports in Spain, West Germany and Scandinavia. The aviation expert will discuss his proposals with officials of the United States Civil Aviation Board.
