Dr. Shmuel Eliashev, director of the East European division of the Israel Foreign Ministry, left here today for Prague en route home to Tel Aviv following a two-week visit to the Soviet capital.

Prior to his departure, Dr. Eliashev expressed satisfaction with the results of his visit, which was highlighted last week by a meeting with acting Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko. Dr. Eliashev is taking home with him a first-hand report of the work of the Israel legation here. He said that Soviet-Israel relations have been established on a basis of sound friendship with prospects for improvement.
