A law fixing the 27th day of Nissan–which this year falls on May 3rd–as an annual memorial day for the Jews who fell victim to the Nazis was passed today by the Israeli Parliament. Members of the Parliament were moved to tears when aged Rabbi Mordecai Nurok, who himself was rescued from Nazi hands, rose to eulogize the 6,000,000 Jews who perished in Nazi extermination camps and ghettos.
