The Israel Government today approved the applications of more than 5,000 Christians in this country to cross the frontier into Jordan, to celebrate Christmas at Bethlehem.
Three separate groups of Christian pilgrims will be permitted to cross over into Jordan. On December 23, 2,500 Catholics and Protestants will Journey to Bethlehem. Two thousand members of the Orthodox Church will cross over on January 6, and 500 members of the Armenain Church will go to Bethlehem on January 19.
