A board of experts will be named by the inter-ministerial economic committee of the Cabinet to study a hundred-million-pound ($55,500,000) project for construction of a huge steel manufacturing center near Acre, it was disclosed today.
The committee studied the plan yesterday at its meeting and a bid from the Koor Company an affiliate of Solel-Boneh, for Government financial participation in the project, Koor. it was reported, has already invested 15 million pounds in the scheme which provides for erection of an industrial complex near Acre including a rolling mill for processing local and imported steel.
