Israel and Portugal have agreed to cooperate in the establishment of an agricultural training system in the latter country to promote the modernization of its agriculture. The agreement was reached during the visit here last week of the Portuguese Minister of Agriculture. Antonio Lopes Cardoso, who was the guest of Israeli Agriculture Minister Aharon Uzan. Uzan is expected to visit Portugal at a later date. An Israeli study and research mission will leave for Portugal shortly to meet, with local authorities to prepare a joint program of activities.
