The Israel Government plans to issue a special postage stamp to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi death camps. The anniversary will be observed on April 15, 1965.
Josef Rosenhaft, president of the World Federation of Bergen Belsen Survivors, said he had received notification about the plans from Ben Menachem, director general of the Israel Ministry of Posts. He said the stamps would serve as a reminder of the Jewish catastrophe in Europe during the Nazi period.
