The celebration of Israel’s seventh birthday will be ushered in by seven broadsides fired by all naval units in the port of Haifa on the evening of April 27, it was announced here today.
The salvos will commence at 7:02 P.M., after a two minute tribute of silence to the Israel men and women who died in the War of Independence. Fireworks and a naval display will be some of the features of this year’s Independence Day celebrations.
