President and Mrs. Ben-Zvi left today on a nine-day Mediterranean cruise on the SS Jerusalem. The President and Mrs. Ben-Zvi were accompanied by a daughter-in-law and two granddaughters as well as his aide de camp and secretary.
The President will pay a short visit to Naples and Marseilles during his cruise. The Presidential party was given a farewell by Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, Kaddish Luz. Speaker of Israel’s Parliament, and members of the diplomatic corps headed by the Soviet Ambassador, Mikhail Abramov, Mr. Luz will be Acting President.
