Many Israeli industrialists and officials of Israel’s Ministry of Commerce, including Undersecretary of Commerce M. Suzaeff, arrived here today in connection with Israel’s participation in the Izmir International Fair, which opened here several days ago.
The Israel exhibits are attracting great attention at the fair. Featured among them are automobiles, trucks, jeeps, spare parts for automotive vehicles, refrigerators, kitchen utensils, radios, electrical equipment, chemical products, textiles, drugs, and construction materials.
Moshe Galli, Israeli trade attache here, announced that Israel has contracted to participate in the Izmir International Fair for the next eight years. He added that the popularity of the exhibits here has led him to consider the possibility of moving the displays to Istanbul after the Izmir Fair closes on September 20.
