The Israel Foreign Ministry issued a 78-page “blackbook” today showing how the Soviet Union has consistently supported Arab belligerency against Israel despite the knowledge that the Arabs sought the total destruction of Israel.
The book reproduces speeches by Arab and Soviet leaders, letters, briefs submitted to the United Nations, published Government statements and similar documents attesting to the close identification of Moscow with the Arab anti-Israel cause.
The theme of the volume is that the Soviet Union identified itself unreservedly with the Arab designs against Israel, gave the Arabs full political backing and supplied them with slogans and arguments they knew to be untrue. The book is being published in English, French and Spanish and will be distributed by Israeli embassies and consulates throughout the world.
