Israel Radio postponed broadcast of advertisements sponsored by the Reform and Conservative movements this week because they may be “ideologically controversial.” In response to the decision on the ads, which invites non- Orthodox Israelis to attend egalitarian synagogues as the High Holidays approach, leaders of the two movements said they may petition the Supreme Court to rule on the matter.
