Israeli officials refused today to comment on Nikita Khrushchev’s remarks to a correspondent of the Times of London that Israel’s posture in the Middle East was “aggressive.” The Soviet leader told the British journalist that he would not intervene in behalf of peace between Israel and the Arabs, because Arab-Israel relations were so aggravated at this time that there would be no value in such an effort.
