The Foreign Ministry here stated today that charges of “insulting” Soviet Jews, made in Moscow by Izvestia, the Soviet Government organ, against Israel’s Ambassador Yosef Tekeah, were “entirely unfounded.” Izvestia had accused Mr. Tekoah of entering into a heated dispute with a Jew in the Odessa synagogue allegedly calling a member of the congregation “a Fascist, not a real Jew.”
