Israel reportedly no longer can afford the famous airborne insignia worn by its paratroopers. According to the Yediot Achronot newspaper on Wednesday, paratroopers at a parade this week were told that they would have to buy their own chrome wing-pins at military surplus stores because of cuts in the defense budget.
