Two Israeli soldiers were wounded when an Egyptian military post opened fire on an Israeli guard near Kissufin, in the Negev. At the same time armed Jordanians opened fire on an Israeli guard near Lifta, a suburb of Jerusalem, while eight armed Syrians crossed the Israel-Syrian border and looted 200 head of cattle from an Israeli collective settlement.
