Foreign Secretary Sir Anthony Eden informed Parliament today that the British Government plans to provide 2,500,000 pounds ($7,000,000) for the Jordan Government in 1955. This sum, he said, would be broken down as follows: 750,000 pounds would be a grant to cover an anticipated budget deficit in 1955-56; the remainder would be an interest-free loan to be spent in 1955 and 1956 on projects agreed upon by both parties.
