Israel should return the Golan Heights to Syria as part of a peace agreement between the two nations, Israel’s president said. Such a move would be “for the good of Israel, the interest of Israel’s economy and our capacity to absorb more immigrants,” Ezer Weizman said in an interview published in the London- based Arabic newspaper Al Hayat.
