The Israel Supreme Court today rejected an appeal from a vendor of pork against a Tel Aviv municipality ban on the contention that he should be exempt from the ban because he did not sell his products in the city. He testified that the factory he represented supplied only persons living outside Tel Aviv and contended that the municipality could only prohibit sales and not production. The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal and ordered the defendant to pay a fine of 100 pounds and costs.
