The Israel Supreme Court rejected an application for an order nisi against President Chaim Weizmann directing him to show cause why a new government was not established after the coalition government headed by Premier David Bon Gurion received a vote of non-confidence from the Israeli Parliament on February 14.
The action was brought by Eri Jabotinsky and Hillel Kook, former members of the Herut Party. The court ruled that it could not act in a political question.
