Israel suspended its participation in a committee monitoring cease-fire violations in Lebanon following repeated Hezbollah attacks coming from populated areas on Israeli and South Lebanon Army positions. Israel Radio reported that Israel said it would not return to the committee until there is at least a two-week period without any attacks from civilian areas.
