The Israeli-Syrian mixed armistice commission held a six-hour meeting on the Israel side of the border between the two countries late yesterday. No decisions were reached at the meeting, an Israel source said. The next meeting in scheduled for Sept. 19.
The bodies of three Palestinian Jews, who died in a British prison camp in Eritrea to which they were exiled, were brought to Tel Aviv today and will be buried at a public funeral in Jerusalem. The bodies are those of Eliyahu Ezea and Shaul Magalili, who were shot by camp guards, and Naphtali Lubinchik.
