Itzhak Raphael, immigration director of the Jewish Agency, today reported that the joint government-Agency immigration coordination body has adopted a number of decisions designed to encourage immigration from western countries and to ease immigration from North African and other Eastern countries. One of the decisions to attract immigrants from the West, he said, was to provide improved housing.
