The gavel used in the historic United Nations General Assembly session November 29, 1947, which adopted the Palestine Partition resolution, will be presented to Israeli President Izhak Ben-Zvi by Mrs. Osvaldo Aranha, widow of Brazil’s late UN delegate who presided at that session, it was reported here today. Mrs. Aranha is planning to visit Israel to present the gavel personally to President Ben-Zvi.
