A loan of $8,400,000 to Nigeria was formally voted yesterday by the Israel Cabinet. The agreement for the loan was reached when Finance Minister Levi Eshkol visited Nigeria recently.
A British protectorate, Nigeria will become an independent state on October 1. The Israeli loan will be for goods and services acquired by the Federal Government of Nigeria from Israel.
