Israel will grant Ghana $20,000,000 in credit for the purchase of building materials and capital goods from the Jewish State, it became known here today.
Although the exact details of the transaction are in the process of being negotiated by a delegation of the Ghana Government which is currently in Israel, it is known that the credits will be advanced in four annual installments of $5,000,000.
Meanwhile, the Alliance Tire Company of Hadera revealed today that Israel will participate as a partner with an American company which is investing in rubber plantations in Ghana and Nigeria. Israel has already begun negotiations with the two governments concerned. With a supply of rubber at a moderate price assured, Israel will be in a position to compete in the world rubber and tire markets.
