An understanding on increasing the production of electric power in Israel has been reached between representatives of the Government of Israel and the board of the Palestine Electric Corporation, the Israel Embassy announced here today.
The announcement pointed out that the understanding was subject to approval by the Israel Government and the stockholders of the PEC. Israel Attorney General Chaim Cohen had participated in the discussions.
