An all-inclusive Israel exposition, including hundreds of products manufactured in Israel and ranging from scientific glass instruments and telephones to canned foodstuffs and baby carriages, will be opened at showrooms in Rockefeller Plaza on July 17th, under the sponsorship of the State of Israel Bonds, it was announced here. The exposition will occupy 9,000 square feet in the building.
The exposition will remain at its Rockefeller Plaza location for two months before being taken on a nationwide tour of leading American cities. Among the Israeli-made products to be placed on public view here for the first time will be a Kaiser-Frazer automobile from the assembly plant in Haifa, tires from the Alliance Tire and Rubber Company plant, refrigerators from the Philco plant, and the latest line of shoes produced by the Jerusalem Shoe Corporation. All these plants originally were established with the aid of American technicians, but are now operated exclusively by Israeli labor.
