A campaign to raise 3,000,000 pounds in Israel for the victims of the recent floods will be inaugurated here shortly, it was announced today by S.S. Hoofien, manager of the Israel National Bank, who is head of a public committee to aid the victims of the storms.
The proceeds of the public campaign will be turned over to municipal and local councils which will supervise and aid the assistance programs for the victims, most of whom were recent immigrants.
