The Israel transport S.S. Eilat arrived at Constanza during the week-end after being repaired at Istanbul, but was not allowed to embark Jewish immigrants awaiting transportation to Israel, it was reported here t today.
The Jews have been waiting at the Constanza port for several days for the vessel, which was delayed because of damage suffered in a Mediterranean storm. The Israel legation here confirmed without comment, the report of the vessel’s not being allowed to embark the passengers.
