Israel B. Ury, leader of the Jewish Labor Committee, died suddenly yesterday of a heart attack, while visiting the home of a friend. He was 71 years old. Born in Russia, he came to the United States in 1910. He was a member of the board of directors of the Jewish Daily Forward, the Yiddish Scientific Institute and other Jewish institutions.
