Concern, but no inclination toward action was expressed in Israeli political circles today over a report that the Egyptian governor general of the Gaza Strip would nominate a legislative and executive council to administer the Strip.

(Earlier, it was reported that Col. Nasser was planning to set up an “independent” Palestine state in the Gaza Strip and have it affiliate with the United Arab Republic.)
