The Israel Water Planning Corporation has completed a huge dam near Tel Yerusham in the central Negev, creating a reservoir with a capacity of one and a quarter million cubic meters, the company announced today.
The reservoir will hold water running off from the wadis of the area for use to irrigate areas of the old Negev settlement of Revivim. When completed, this water conservation project will have a capacity of ten million cubic meters of water.
