Israel will be able to feed 2,500,000 people when its current irrigation schemes are completed in 1957, Lincoln Hale, chief of the United States Operations Mission in Israel, declared today.
Dr. Hale, who spoke to the Rotary Club of Nathanya, revealed that an American industrial delegation will be arriving soon in Israel to advise local industries on methods of increasing efficiency in production and to increase production for export.
