The Israel Government will not allow individuals or private companies to buy in Germany, even after the conclusion of the Israeli-German reparations pact, it was announced here today by a Foreign Ministry spokesman.
The official indicated that immediately after the signing of the Israel-German agreement at The Hague, a special ministerial committee will be formed for organizational and personnel arrangements. The acquisition of materials in Germany will be done by a special governmental agency which will buy for licensed persons or companies directly from German factories without mediators. The merchandise acquired by this agency will be handed over to Israeli importers in Israel.
