Israel will not remain indefinitely in southern Lebanon even without an agreement, Israel’s foreign minister said Monday. David Levy made his comments Monday after a meeting of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. Prime Minister Ehud Barak has pledged to pull Israeli troops out of Lebanon within a year.
