Israel will withdraw troops on Monday from two more Palestinian cities, Palestinian and Israeli officials said. The Palestinian minister of information, Nabil Amer, said that Israel would withdraw from Kalkilya and Jericho on Monday, to be followed next week by withdrawals from Ramallah and Tulkarm. Israel had put on hold the transfer of control of Palestinian towns since a pair of Palestinian suicide bombings last week.
