A tribute to the memory of Dr. Nachman Syrkin, late leader of the Poale Zion is expressed by Israel Zangwill in a letter addressed to Bernard G. Richards, Executive Secretary of the American Jewish Congress.
“I am delighted to hear that a Committee representative of the various organized groups has been formed, which, while making some provision for Dr. Syrkin’s Family, will not let the children of his brain perish unseen, nor fail to establish some suitable memorial of this vigorous thinker, speaker and worker,” writes Mr. Zangwill.
