A group of Israeli and Arabian children will camp together near Dayton this summer, thanks to the efforts of a Cincinnati woman and the Cincinnati American Israelite, it was announced here today.
Mrs. Leonard S. Meranus undertook an effort to raise $3, 000 to finance a trip of four 11-year-old Tel Aviv children and their adult counselor to the Children’s International Summer Village at Covington, Ohio. Four Arab children and a leader will attend the camp through the generosity of the Sultan of Morocco.
The Tel Aviv group consists of Mrs. Naomi Shanon, two girls and two boys.
