Israeli army fire killed two Palestinian children in the northern Gaza Strip.
An Israeli ground unit, having located a rocket launcher used to fire across the border from the Gazan town of Beit Hanoun on Wednesday, shelled a group of Palestinians who approached the site.
The missile strike killed two boys — cousins aged 10 and 12 — and critically wounded a 10-year-old girl.
Military sources said initial indications were that the children were sent by a Palestinian terrorist group to retrieve the launcher.
