The Israeli Army today marked the first anniversary of the death of Col. David Marcus, American West Point graduate who was killed by a sniper’s bullet during the fighting in the Jerusalem area.
A military parade was held at the spot where Col. Marcus died. Yaacov Dori, chief of staff of the Israeli Army, eulogized the American Jewish hero. A seven-gun salute was fired and the Israeli flag was dipped in his honor.
