Israeli citizen Yakov Moshaylov was extradited to the Czech Republic to face trial for a grenade attack in Prague. An emigre from the Soviet Union, Moshaylov is accused of throwing the grenade in August 2004 at a vehicle that belonged to an Israeli casino owner. The bombing raised intense speculation in the Czech Republic about the activities and existence of an Israeli mafia. The attack, outside the casino in downtown Prague, injured 18 bystanders. If found guilty, Moshaylov could spend eight to 15 years in prison.
