Yehoshua Lakner, Israeli composer, has received a grant of $500 to attend the Berkshire Music Center this summer, it was announced by Mrs. Rose G. Jacobs, chairman of Esco Foundation for Palestine. Mr. Lakner is the fifth Israeli musician to receive such a grant from the Esco Foundation. Earlier this year, he received a three-month scholarship from the Institute of International Education.
