Israeli Consul General Advises on Correct Addressing of Letters to Jerusalem

Israeli Consul-General Arthur Lourie today warned All persons writing to residents of Jewish sections in Jerusalem that they must address their mail, “Jerusalem,’ Israel.” Letters marked “Jerusalem, Palestine are liable to be delivered to the Old City of Jerusalem) which is in the hands of the “legion, and will not reach the addressees, he said in a statement to the press.
